This past Saturday, I had the best time at the Marshalls Good Stuff Social Club event in Houston. I attended the, Rewrite Your Financial Story with a Rich Mindset.” Say less—I’m so there.

I went with my sister (because what’s a glow-up without your ride-or-die?), and we showed up ready to sip, learn, and be inspired. The event was hosted by none other than one of my favorite financial girlies, Vivian Rich BFF—aka the queen of keeping it real about budgeting, saving, and still enjoying the good stuff in life. If you follow her on social media, you know her vibe is “luxury on a budget,” and she delivered.

First Impressions? 10/10
Before the event even started, I knew we were in for a treat. When we checked in, we were handed the cutest welcome bag that had me gasping in true girls-girl fashion. Inside was a Marshalls-branded:
- Stanley cup (the girls who get it, get it 👏🏽)
- Gift card (already spent—obvi)
- Notebook + matching pens
- Canvas tote to carry it all in style
Like, I came to learn about finances and left feeling like I got a little haul too? Yes please.

Parking was horrbile + the weather was not the best combo, but hey event was still a 10/10

Let’s Talk Money (But Make It Pretty)
Vivian was everything I hoped she’d be—funny, down-to-earth, and full of real tips about how to shift your mindset when it comes to money. She talked about creating a “rich life” from the inside out, how to build habits that support your goals, and reminded us that luxury doesn’t have to come with a high price tag.
Honestly, it felt like a girls’ brunch meets finance talk—light-hearted but packed with gems.

Final Thoughts
I left the event feeling inspired, empowered, and lowkey obsessed with everything Marshalls is doing to support women on their financial journey. Between the aesthetics, the community, and the speaker, this event gave major good energy.
If you ever get a chance to attend a Marshalls Good Stuff Social Club event—GO. Bring your sister, your bestie, your mama—whoever. You’ll leave with gifts, knowledge, and maybe even a new mindset.
Here’s to soft life budgets, smart money moves, and showing up for yourself—even in your favorite Marshalls sweatsuit.😉
